Samantha has found her belly button, and she is thrilled!

Well, Samantha had her first birthday, and first birthday party. It was a blast. I don't know who had more fun, the adults or the children! Tia Yvette came up from DC and Grandma, Aunt Liz, Aunt Deb, Aunt Carrie, Aunt Mare, and cousin Ava came from Buffalo and Philly. Some friends from work came, as well as our neighbors and Samantha's daycare teacher, Molly and her family, came. We partied until 11pm! Well, some of us did. Samantha was amazing, as always.

Samantha's new casio keyboard

Samantha got a keyboard for her birthday, and she loves it. I guess all babies love to dance. Samantha is the same. She'll dance with Dave and I all day long.

Trip to Shetland

We went to Shetland the end of July for our Hamefarin. It was a great trip. A Hamefarin is kind of like a wedding after the wedding. So, we renewed our vows in my parents' backyard and then had dinner and a dance. We had a lot of family and friends there, which made the event even better. Samantha got to ride in another limo, and this time she got to sit in Club world.

We went to visit Avery, Conor, Aunt Katie and Uncle Jim, and Ava, Aunt Mare and Uncle John, and we got loads of great photos of the kids. jToo bad Avery's brother Conor was asleep while we were there.

New Outfit

We got this outfit from Samantha's friend, Keira, at daycare and she looked so cute we thought we'd use it as a little photo shoot moment.

Sick Day

Samantha and I are still sick (since Friday) and Dave is in Canada, so I just kept us home from work/daycare for a day to get well. here's our sick day video.

New camcorder

So I'm using this new Mino Flip video camcorder I got for my birthday. It's the size of a palm pilot of an ipod nano. They are not exciting videos, but then, they're really all exciting. I'll try to put one a day on here.

We bought a pool about 13 feet by 36 inches, and as you can see, Samantha and I LOVE it

First cheerios

We started giving Samantha cheerios a few weeks ago. She likes feeding herself. She also likes to stand up. The day after she started crawling, she started pulling herself up to standing. She's now walking if we hold her hands.

The end of April

At the end of April, Samantha had picture day at daycare. The picture the company took was okay, but I got some good ones while changing her. And Tia Yvette came up for a quick trip.
